Lisa M. Lynn, MA, LP

Lisa M. Lynn, MA, LP has worked with Lynn & Associates for over 20 years and is an author, speaker and organizational consultant. Lisa's understanding of both clinical and organizational concepts gives her the ability to apply her psychological expertise in organizational settings.  Lisa developed her organizational consulting skills by working with people in their work environment on a wide range of issues. 

  • At the individual level, Lisa’s work has focused in the areas of work style assessments, at-risk performance coaching, supervisory and leadership development, performance assessment, enhancing problem solving and decision-making skills, conflict resolution, psychological assessment and career coaching. 
  • At the team level, Lisa’s work has focused on building and maintaing effective teams, facilitating training on a number of initiatives focusing on increasing team/departmental effectiveness as well as coaching initiatives with both teams and departments on areas such as teamwork, communication, customer service, and time/project management.
  • At the organizational level, Lisa has conducted work in the areas of personnel selection, the design and facilitation of customized initiatives focused on performance assessment, customer satisfaction, strategic planning, executive coaching, stress management, diversity, and dealing with ‘difficult’ people, just to name a few.

Lisa has particular interest and expertise in personnel selection services and helping organizations find the 'right' candidates for positions.  Her work in developing a customized Needs Assessment, developing interview questions, participating on interview panels, facilitating psychological assessments, and conducting psychological interviews has helped many organizations choose candidates who have the skills for success but also, fit within the culture of the organization and work team. 

Lisa also has expertise in personnel coaching and development.  Her work in identifying key areas of development need, customized a development plan to enhance work performance and morale, and facilitating the development process has helped both individuals and organizations increase their overall success. 

Lisa is a highly recommended instructor for Century College’s Continuing Educational and Supervisory Programs for several years. Lisa’s knowledge of human behavior and systems, her expertise in assessment, coaching and her experience in facilitating change enable her to provide effective, efficient, and ethical consulting services that are designed to meet clients’ specific needs.

Lisa earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from St. Catherine’s College in St. Paul, MN, and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis, MN.  She is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Minnesota. 

Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, kayaking, reading, golfing, running and biking.
